Job Summary:

At Nellis Auction, our Warehousing Team is essential to the success of our operations. Composed of dedicated Pickers and Put Away employees, this team ensures that products are put away in their designated locations and accurately and efficiently picked for customer orders. Your role will help maintain an organized warehouse, ensuring products are readily available for listing on our website and facilitating a smooth flow of goods to customers. Key Responsibilities of Warehousing Team:

Put Away Clerks:

  • Relocate processed products to designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Scan items using hand-held devices to ensure accurate placement.
  • Maintain organization in racking areas for easy picking and delivery to customers.
  • Minimize lost items through careful placement and organization.

Pickers:
  • Locate and pick customer orders from inventory using carts, racks, and containers.
  • Safely and carefully transport picked items to the Consolidation Area.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in picking to meet customer expectations.

General Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized and safe workspace.
  • Adhere to warehouse mapping and consistently use the shortest paths.
  • Minimize duplicate routes and back-and-forth workflows.
  • Set clear, actionable goals to reduce missing or lost items.
  • Consolidate and downstack efficiently, using materials effectively.
  • Organize products with future interactions in mind, ensuring maximum efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with hand-held warehousing tools.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them.
  • Bilingual is a plus!


Salary Description

17.00 Hour
