Summary: Responsible for scheduling all Housekeeping personnel including Guest Room Attendants, Housepersons, Utility Porters, Status Board Operators, and Floor Managers. Maintains departmental employee administrative information/records. Maintains updated seniority lists and tracking sheets for labor, productivity, etc. for the housekeeping, EVS, and Uniforms departments, and ensures accurate payroll input and payroll records for all 3 departments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Schedule according to hotel occupancy and replaces sick or personal call-ins, vacations and all personnel on leave of absence
* Assist management in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures
* Assign floors and/or workstations and days off for all personnel on the extra-board
* Responsible for investigating and resolving guest complaints resulting from Lost & Found items
* Maintain time and attendance records throughout the assigned departments and works with team members on any issues or discrepancies
* Conduct the necessary research to effectively resolve payroll disputes from team members
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data produced, including reports
* Maintain attendance records, corrective counseling, and other administrative records for team members within the Housekeeping, EVS, and Uniforms departments
* Ensure seniority lists are updated and accurately maintained
* Maintain accurate productive tracking logs
* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
* One to two years related experience in performing the same or similar job duties, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong mathematical skills
* Previous experience with Kronos Timekeeping system, preferred
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and to respond to common inquiries or complaints/questions/concerns from employees or regulatory agencies
* Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite (including Word and Excel)
* Proven experience providing high level of guest service
* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
* Verify right to work in the United States
