As the Regional People Partner – West, you will be the primary HR partner for the region, responsible for driving results and maximizing HR impact across multiple airport locations. This role will oversee all HR activity within the region, focusing on employee relations, union interactions, training, and development. The successful candidate will collaborate with regional and airport leadership to support operational goals while fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.
Location: Remote based in Los Angeles, California or nearby cities
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Weekends as needed, 40-50 hours per week, travel as needed
Pay: $110,000 - $120,000 annually

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to regional and airport leadership teams on all HR-related matters, providing expert guidance to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Lead and support employee relations efforts, including managing labor relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management to maintain a positive, compliant workplace.
- Lead the implementation of training programs for managers and employees, focusing on compliance, operational efficiency, and leadership development, ensuring consistent delivery across all airport locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations, including HIPAA, ADA, and FMLA.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management practices, supporting ongoing feedback and development conversations. Lead the region's performance review process.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts, to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Partner with talent acquisition to drive recruitment efforts, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding of top talent to meet the company's staffing needs.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making that enhances workforce performance and business outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on labor relations, preferably in the retail or travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in unionized environments and managing collective bargaining agreements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel to various airport locations along the region as needed.
