Job Details

The Maintenance Director is responsible for leading all maintenance functions at the print production facility. This includes overseeing the repair, upkeep, and optimization of printing presses, production machinery, and building systems. The role ensures equipment reliability, compliance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Drive operational uptime by minimizing unplanned equipment downtime.
• Manage capital improvement projects, including equipment installs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and facility safety protocols.
• Maintain vendor relationships, manage service contracts, and control maintenance budgets.
• Use data and CMMS tools to track performance, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or print environment.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing maintenance teams.
• Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting print machinery (e.g., offset, flexo, digital).
• Strong background in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience implementing and managing CMMS systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
