General Superintendents are leaders for our construction crews and are accountable for all aspects of all the projects assigned to his/her construction crews. General Superintendents directly manage Construction Crew Supervisors, Foremen, and serve as mentors to guide employees to succeed safely.

What You'll Do

  1. Coordinate with customers as well as contractors to discuss project costs and timelines.
  2. Collect and review revenue from supervisors weekly and submit to senior leadership.
  3. Identify and develop leaders who can take on additional responsibility.
  4. Collaborate with safety to ensure training for new and existing teams is completed to company standards.
  5. Lead assigned crews to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
  6. Oversee processes to achieve all compliance requirements.
  7. Respond quickly to crises such as outages or malfunctions.
  8. Manage project progress, budgets, and safety reporting.
  9. Analyze procedures for continuous process improvement.
  10. Interview, hire, and train new crew members.
  11. Develop and oversee an expense budget for the division.
  12. Develop and set departmental, divisional, and organizational goals.
  13. Develop annual business/project plans for the assigned division.
  14. Perform other duties as requested by leadership.

What You'll Have

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Minimum 7 years' experience in relevant construction roles, with at least three years as a Foreman.
  3. Extensive knowledge in disciplines such as pipeline construction, concrete, and electrical applications.
  4. OSHA 10, 30, and Competent Person Certification.
  5. Mathematical and writing skills for data interpretation and report writing.
  6. Interpersonal skills for negotiation and communication.
  7. Ability to travel as required.
