Position Overview

Plans, assigns, supervises, and directs activities of subordinates. Participates in hiring and disciplinary decisions. Demonstrates competency in activities affecting product safety, legality, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant facility and equipment according to standards
• Assists Maintenance Manager or Superintendent
• Plans, assigns, and supervises engineering personnel
• Trains new employees and demonstrates plant procedures
• Supervises repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Reads and implements schematics and drawings
• Promotes safety programs and ensures compliance
• Ensures cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Adheres to company policies (EEO, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations, with knowledge of electrical wiring, motor control, PLCs, and equipment repair
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of PLCs, networking devices, and experience with Allen Bradley and SAP is a plus
• Managing Preventative Maintenance programs

Job Requirements

• Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent experience
• Completion of formal management skills training
