Position: Lifestyle Director

Frontier Management is seeking an outstanding Lifestyle Director to develop and promote a strong activity program for Escalante at The Lakes community located in Las Vegas, NV. Demonstrated success as a leader in similar settings is required.

The Lifestyle Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising daily social, educational, recreational, spiritual, therapeutic activities, entertainment, and transportation services for residents. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required. The role involves independent work, problem-solving, conflict management, and budgeting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, implement, and supervise activities catering to various interests and skill levels, including parties, games, exercises, church services, clubs, crafts, baking, outside entertainment, travel, holiday activities, fundraisers, and celebrations.
  2. Encourage and promote resident participation in activities and social services through effective communication.
  3. Organize quarterly seminars or lecture series for residents, families, and friends.
  4. Assist with Residents Council and monthly meetings, playing a key role in their organization.
  5. Collaborate with local activity planners and exchange ideas with other Lifestyle Directors.
  6. Develop and distribute monthly activity calendars and newsletters to keep residents and community informed.
  7. Assist at the front desk and cover for staff when needed.
  8. Represent the community by giving tours and marketing as needed.
  9. Perform other tasks as required.

Other Requirements:

  • Possess a valid state driver's license and have transportation available.
  • Willingness to learn basic photography and social media posting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Compassion for elderly residents.
  • Self-motivated attitude.

The role qualifies for a Performance-Based Bonus Program aimed at incentivizing efforts that control costs, maintain high resident satisfaction, and reach occupancy targets.
