The Salvation Army (TSA), Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in completing our drug/alcohol rehabilitation program. Our employees contribute to the maintenance and effectiveness of the program, providing a greater sense of purpose and opportunity.

Essential Job Duties

• The Lead Sales provides customers with the best selection, exceptional service, and well-organized stores to support spiritual, social, and rehabilitation programs.
• Works closely with management in daily store operations, including meeting sales and income goals, creating a positive environment, and implementing Work Therapy Assignments (WTA).
• Partners with the Store Manager in routines such as opening/closing, POS operations, inventory management, and donations.
• Assumes responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager, including personnel and cash handling.
• Monitors key performance indicators to drive sales and profitability.
• Schedules staff, conducts team meetings, and provides coaching and training.
• Ensures customer and donor satisfaction and develops strategies to improve service.
• Supports Back Room Processing to meet daily goals.
• Supervises and reports on program beneficiaries during Work Therapy.
• Protects store assets and ensures security during non-operating hours.
• Maintains safety standards and reports incidents.
• May transfer or relocate based on business needs.
• Completes tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motion tasks.

Pay and Benefits

This part-time position pays $14/hr for 25 hours/week.
