Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Location: Southern Nevada (Las Vegas & surrounding areas) Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Reports To: Care Coordinator / SupervisorAbout the RoleAt Home Care LV, Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) are the heart of our work. In this role, youll help clients with everyday tasks so they can continue living safely and comfortably at home. Your work supports their independence, dignity, and overall well-being and it makes a real difference.This is a non-medical position focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality personal care and support. We serve seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who need a helping hand with daily living.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as:Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral careMobility support, including safe transfers and repositioningProvide meal preparation and feeding assistance, considering dietary restrictions and preferencesPerform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, changing linens, and tidying upAssist with medication reminders (Note: PCAs do not administer medication)Offer companionship and emotional supportRun errands and assist with grocery shopping or prescription pickupsMonitor and report any changes in a clients condition or concerns to your supervisorMaintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environmentQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to pass background checks and complete initial and ongoing training per NRS/NAC regulationsPhysical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and providing hands-on personal careReliable transportation and a valid drivers license (or consistent access to transportation)Must complete all required onboarding tasks, including I-9 verification, TB test, and CPR certificationDesired SkillsGenuine compassion and respect for othersDependable, trustworthy, and punctualGood communication skills and ability to follow care plansComfortable working independently and making sound judgmentsFlexible and willing to adapt to client needs and preferencesWhy Join Home Care LV?Competitive hourly payFlexible scheduling we work with your availabilityPaid training through Care AcademySupportive team environment and 24/7 on-call assistanceMeaningful work where you truly make a differenceReady to help others live their best life at home?
