Position Overview:
The Sales Coordinator assists in developing sales opportunities within the meetings, incentives, conventions, events, and leisure travel markets. The individual in this role is an advocate for the Museum, supporting all departments in their effort to advance the profitability of the organization and meet business goals. S/he will foster relationships, both in- and out-of-market, assist with facility rentals, handle group ticket sales, and nurture a continued interest in the Museum's offerings. The Sales Coordinator reports to the Senior Director of Development & Special Events and works closely with other team members across the organization to promote the Museum's mission of advancing the public understanding of organized crime's history and impact on American society.
