You will work on a team developing, testing, deploying and supporting data- driven applications using .NET Framework, JavaScript, and Power Pages.In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Application Designer and Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions. Your time will be spent on various responsibilities, including:Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needsDesigning and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experienceWriting clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectivesRegular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholdersSkills and attributes for successTo excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. Document and communicate results appropriatelyParticipate in white-boarding sessions and impact analysis and explore methods and tools to improve the overall development processAssist with providing estimates on assigned tasksLearn new client information quickly, and translate data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systemsStrong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologiesProficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practicesAbility to build and manage relationships with clients, fostering trust and valueExcellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas with clarityEnjoy working at an entrepreneurial companyHighly motivated and dependableTo qualify for the role, you must haveA Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering) or related fieldTypically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power PagesExtensive knowledge of Power Pages design principles including configuration of Basic Forms, Multistep Forms, Lists, and Power Pages securityExtensive HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience requiredExperience leveraging Bootstrap to extend the native capabilities of Power PagesFamiliar with relational databasesExtensive experience with C# is a plusExperience working from a mockup to generate markup and styles leveraging leading practicesExperience implementing accessibility requirements in Power Pages is a plusSelf-starter and able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skillsKnowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific business and technology functionsProficiency in Agile Delivery methodologiesExperience with Application Delivery ProcessesFamiliarity with Application Development ToolsKnowledge of Quality Assurance practicesUnderstanding of Testing practicesFamiliarity with the System Development LifecycleExperience in System IntegrationIdeally, you'll also havePL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certificationExperience in complex problem-solving and critical thinkingStrong emotional agility and the ability to collaborate in hybrid environmentsA proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologiesDegree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS or Mathematics desired; master's degree in one of these areas preferredCertifications and prior consulting experience highly preferredWhat we look forWe seek individuals who are not only technically proficient but also possess a strong sense of curiosity and a desire to learn. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
