Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Coordinate with patients to confirm or reschedule appointments as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the scheduling system
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize scheduling efficiency
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and scheduling
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
• Verify insurance and resolve insurance related issues

Requirements

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental or medical office setting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of dental or medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in using scheduling systems, such as Dentrix
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary dependent on experience.
