Overview

Senior Water Resource Recovery (Wastewater) Process Engineer position based in Henderson, Nevada. Jacobs is seeking a driven, client-focused engineer to support regional teams in advancing wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects.

Base pay

$120,400.00/yr - $188,100.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of conventional and advanced processes within the water resource recovery market, including liquids treatment stages (preliminary to biological nutrient removal) and residuals management (e.g., biosolids processing, digestion, sidestream treatment).
  • Perform process modeling, hydraulic modeling, and cost estimating.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from preliminary engineering studies through detailed design and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with the global water resource recovery team on research, optimization, and design projects.
  • Assist with team building and mentoring of younger engineers.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships; assist with business development and marketing efforts to grow the business in Nevada and surrounding markets.
  • Work directly with clients on projects you lead and cultivate long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in evaluation, design, and optimization of water resource recovery facilities and related construction activities.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Ideally you'll also have

  • Master's degree or PhD in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in evaluation, design, and optimization of water resource recovery facilities and related construction activities.

The base salary range is $120,400.00 to $188,100.00, with actual pay determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
