About the Role:

The Banquet House Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events and functions within the banking and financial services environment. This position is responsible for setting up banquet rooms, arranging furniture, and preparing service areas to meet the specific requirements of each event. The attendant collaborates closely with event coordinators and catering teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and timely service. Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of guests and staff are essential to uphold the high standards expected in this industry. Ultimately, the Banquet House Attendant contributes to the overall success of corporate events by providing efficient, courteous, and professional support throughout each function.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, event support, or a related customer service role.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to food service and event environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a corporate or financial services setting.
  • Familiarity with banquet service protocols and event setup procedures.
  • Certification in food handling or hospitality services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • Proficiency in using event management software or communication tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare banquet rooms by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and service equipment according to event specifications.
  • Assist in the delivery and arrangement of food and beverage items in coordination with catering staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
  • Respond promptly to requests from event coordinators and guests to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet spaces following the conclusion of events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all banquet operations.
  • Support inventory management by reporting supplies usage and needs to supervisors.
