Job Summary:

Do you love to cook and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen? Steak 'n Shake is looking for a Cook to prepare and cook delicious meals according to our recipes and guest requests.

What You'll Do:
  • Cook food items to order, following recipes and guidelines
  • Use grills, fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently
  • Mix, season, and prepare ingredients
  • Ensure food is cooked properly and meets quality standards
  • Create an atmosphere with Associates and Guests that supports the Golden Rule

What We're Looking For:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Food Handler's Card
  • At least 1 year of high-volume kitchen experience (hot food preferred)
  • Basic knife and cooking skills
  • Able to read and speak basic English
  • Flexible schedule - must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Alcohol License
