Summary:

Performs general custodial and routine maintenance work in the casino and adjacent outside areas. Keeps all equipment in a clean, orderly, and functional condition. Aids staff, guests, and management as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned).

• Performs minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs
• Follows daily assignment sheet
• Provides touch up and finishing paint as needed
• Daily grounds maintenance
• Follows all safety rules and procedures
• Follows oral or written direction from management

• 1-year experience in Maintenance or Facilities within casino environment preferred

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English language - speak and read

• Basic math skills required

• Experience working with variety of tools for repair/maintenance
• Must be able to work at a steady pace to ensure that department schedule is kept
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to work well with others and with minimum supervision
• Good customer service skills and employee relations skills

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75lbs occasionally
• Ability to handle and repair heavy-duty equipment
• Must be able to push and pull heavy duty equipment
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and kneeling without
• restriction
• Ability to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment
• Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas
