Pay Considerations The salary range for the position is 63,534.93 - 101,217.37. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, (36 hour work week) Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
The Role Performs a variety of specialized duties in the coordination, administration and performance of citywide payroll systems.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Payroll Coordinator who demonstrates advanced payroll expertise, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative, service-oriented approach. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing complex payroll functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, labor agreements, and internal policies. The Payroll Coordinator will report directly to the Payroll Manager and serve as a liaison to Human Resources, Finance, and department leadership, providing guidance, problem resolution, and process improvement support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They possess strong communication skills and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and cross-training efforts within the payroll function.
