ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to the office and facility buildings to support safe and efficient operations.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
General building maintenance and repairs
Painting, plumbing, and limited janitorial work
Low-voltage electrical work
Rack installation and repair
Dock and door maintenance
Welding and basic fabrication
Ammonia refrigeration system upkeep
Compliance with all US Foods and government safety guidelines when working on equipment, including Lockout/Tagout, placarding, required documentation, and maintaining a safe work environment
Responsibility for company tools and maintenance equipment, including inventory tracking, safe operation, proper storage, and security of the tool area
Maintain a basic personal tool set and toolbox; may purchase tools or supplies from local vendors when authorized to complete job duties
Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or be on-call as business needs require

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Training:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Additional mechanical training or trade school education preferred
Related Experience:
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of equipment repair and operation
Experience with painting, plumbing, low-voltage electrical work, and welding
Ability to read and write legibly
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in office, warehouse, and dock environments and may include exposure to machinery, refrigeration systems, and varying temperatures.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
The expected base rate for this role is $44.79 per hour.
