This position is responsible for cleaning, servicing, and maintaining guest rooms and service areas as designated. Must ensure the overall cleanliness of guest rooms are up to standards
Job Focus: Focus is on, but not limited to the following:
Make beds, dust and vacuum all assigned rooms, clean baseboards, remove scuff marks, clean mirrors, toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and floors daily
Remove all trash from guest rooms, empty wastebaskets, strip, remove and properly dispose of all soiled linen from guest rooms
Complete daily assigned room quota
Report any room damages and/or maintenance repairs
Complete detail projects assigned by management
Operate and maneuver housekeeping carts
Drape or fold guests' clothing, pair guests' shoes and neatly arrange guests' toiletries
Replenish guest amenities as required
Reporting lost and found items
Must conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Provide excellent customer service skills to guest as well as co-workers
Offer the hotel guest the best possible service in a courteous and hospitable manner, having knowledge of hotel information
Must adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Must have the ability to communicate in English
Must have 6 months of customer service or hospitality experience
One (1)+ years' experience in a hotel environment preferred
Must be 18 year or older
