Porter/Janitor

We are looking for a dedicated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept environment. In this role, you will help create a safe, comfortable, and inviting space where students and staff can focus, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean the entire building, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, and restrooms
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance tasks
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
• Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management
• Perform minor adjustments and basic repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Prepare spaces for the next day by removing trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers, and restock disposables
• Secure the facility after hours by locking doors, closing windows, and setting alarms

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of janitorial experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices
• Ability to work independently with integrity and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
