Assembly Technician

Advance Services Inc. is looking for manufacturing assembly technicians that will be responsible for putting together components for specific equipment, often related to gaming machines, using technical documents like blueprints and schematics.

Job Description:

  • Assembly: Position, align, and fasten parts and subassemblies using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks and test completed units to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose problems with equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and report any issues or defective parts to supervisors.
  • Inventory Management: Track parts and materials inventory, placing orders and verifying supplies as needed.
  • Documentation: Complete production and quality forms to document procedures, progress, and any discrepancies.
  • Safety & Work Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand technical documents and operate various machinery and tools.
  • Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with precision on small or complex components.
  • Physical Stamina: The role can be physically demanding, often requiring long periods of standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: A critical eye for detail is necessary to ensure all parts fit correctly and the final product is free of defects.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift - $16.00
  • 5:00am to 3:30pm
  • 6:00am to 4:30pm
  • Swing Shift - $17.00
  • 3:30pm to 1:30am
  • Weekends as needed
  • 4/10 Schedule
  • Friday and Saturday OT as needed
