This role will oversee day-to-day operations in the blood bank section of our laboratory, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff scheduling and training, and coordinate quality assurance activities./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3olliSupervise a team of Medical Technologists and Lab Assistants in the Blood Bank./liliOversee testing, processing, storage, and distribution of blood products./liliEnsure compliance with CLIA, CAP, AABB, and FDA regulations./liliDevelop and implement SOPs, quality control programs, and audits./liliAssist with inventory management and vendor relationships./liliParticipate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews./liliServe as a liaison with nursing, surgery, and trauma teams during high-demand situations./li/olh3Qualifications:/h3pstrongRequired:/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field./liliMinimum 35 years of experience in a blood bank or transfusion service laboratory./liliAt least 2 years of supervisory or lead tech experience./liliCertification as MT/MLS(ASCP) or equivalent./liliNevada General Supervisor License (or eligible)./li/ulpInterested in applying?
