The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible for assisting in the serving and preparation of food. In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas
Essential Functions:
Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures
Knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen
Cleans and checks service equipment
Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Cleans and maintains kitchen facilities
Assists in moving and storing supplies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
Working Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
Position Type: Full-time/ Part time
Physical Demands:
Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs.
Able to stand for multiple hours.
Education and Experience:
Food Handler Card
Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
