Counter Sales Representative

$19 - 20 Hourly

A growing and well-established electrical distribution company is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to support contractor and walk-in business at the branch level.

This role is ideal for someone who understands electrical products, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building strong customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Sell electrical materials and supplies to contractors and walk-in customers

• Select and recommend products based on customer application needs

• Process and service customer pick-up orders efficiently and accurately

• Support retail-level counter activity in a high-volume branch

• Maintain and merchandise product displays

• Assist with inventory movement, stocking, and organization

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow company safety procedures

• Work collaboratively with warehouse, inside sales, and branch leadership

• Support branch growth through strong service and product knowledge

• Work overtime as needed during peak demand

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience in electrical supply, construction, or related industry

• Strong knowledge of electrical products and applications

• Ability to select materials that best suit contractor needs

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and working in a warehouse environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
