Network Voice And Solution Architect

Location: Los Vegas, NV (Hybrid)

Must Have: Cisco VoIP networks, including IP-PBX, voice gateways, and Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), with integration for Cisco Jabber ITIL framework and Good communication skills. Cisco Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to protect the VoIP network and Cisco Jabber Palo Alto Firewall, CISCO ASA, Velo Cloud Good to have: SD LAN, WAN, DNS, Private Network Management, AWS and Azure experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build secure, scalable Cisco VoIP networks, including IP-PBX, voice gateways, and Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), with integration for Cisco Jabber to enable seamless communication.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues with Cisco Jabber, such as poor call quality, registration problems, and network issues like delays or lost packets.
• Implement Cisco Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to protect the VoIP network and Cisco Jabber from cyber threats like DDoS attacks and unauthorized access.
• Use monitoring tools and ATP to assess the quality of VoIP and Jabber services, identifying and fixing issues with call clarity, network congestion, or service interruptions.
• Set up and secure Cisco routers, switches, and CUCM, applying ATP to protect voice data from security risks such as eavesdropping.
• Actively monitor and troubleshoot CUCM performance in real-time, addressing issues like call failures, registration problems, and system outages. Use diagnostic tools and logs to identify root causes and implement solutions, ensuring optimal call quality, uptime, and overall system efficiency.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Jabber on desktop and mobile devices, ensuring good voice, video, and messaging quality with added security using ATP.
• Perform regular checks on voice systems, Jabber setups, and ATP security protocols to ensure everything is secure and up to date with the latest security standards and software versions.
• Work with clients to understand their communication needs and deliver customized Cisco Jabber and VoIP solutions, ensuring security and reliable, high-quality communication.
• Configure and optimize the network to handle high voice call volumes, ensuring that the network can scale to accommodate heavy call traffic without degrading performance.
• Configuring & managing Routers, switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN, NAC solution (Cisco ISE)
• Possess a strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPsec for secure and efficient network communications.
• Strong experience with support of SDWAN solution (Velo cloud)
• Expert level experience in Cisco Data Center and Campus Switching and routing.
• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of networking technologies, WAN communications, and security concepts, including TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, DMVPN and IPSec.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Cisco ASA firewalls, including advanced features like threat prevention, S2S VPNs, remote VPN solution, and security policies, F5 load balancers.
• Troubleshooting experience on SDWAN velo cloud, Viptela, routing / Switching protocols, security, VPN issues.
• Ability to implement design architecture objectives that align with client demand & business goals
