Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location; Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed; Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor check-in procedures, and communicating site rules in a courteous manner; Prepare complete and accurate written reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity through established channels
