Maintain a working knowledge of menu items and recipes
Work rapidly and accurately
Utilize proper food handling techniques following Health and Safety Standards
Maintain proper stocking of assigned station and know the mise en place
Clean, maintain and organize work area
Assist Chef in menu preparation and service
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
One year high-volume cooking experience required.
Must possess good recall and memory
Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills
Professional appearance and demeanor a must
