Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manage Perishable Departments including Produce, Fresh Meat, Packaged Meats, Dairy, Frozen Food, Bread, and Thaw and Sell Bakery products.; Ensure efficient inventory management and merchandise presentation.; Assist in training associates in proper handling, presentation, and pricing standards for perishable areas.; Assist in scheduling coverage and oversee work completion with associates.; Record Perishable Markdowns and monitor causes to prevent recurrences.
