Specific Job Functions:* Maintain a working knowledge of menu items and recipes.* Work rapidly and accurately.* Utilize proper food handling techniques following Health and Safety Standards.* Maintain proper stocking of assigned station and know the mise en place.* Clean, maintain and organizework area.* Assist Chef in menu preparation and service.* Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.Qualifications:* Minimum one-year high-volume cooking experience required.* Must possess good recall and memory.* Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.* Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment and good knife skills.* Professional appearance and demeanor a must.* Must have or be able to obtain Health Card.
