Prepares all food items grilled, sautéed, and fried.
Basic understanding of soups, sauces, and correct standard cooking methods.
Follows all applicable safety procedures while working in the kitchen & food service areas.
Ensures all items prepared are completed & presented in accordance with property standards.
Works closely with chefs to ensure quality specification standards are maintained.
Practices FIFO (First In, First Out) by correctly labeling all products.
Maintains organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Provides relief and assistance at all stations as required.
Adhere to company dress code policy.
Must adhere to health code procedures.
Temporary on call position.
Other duties may be added at the Company's discretion.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Carving and sautéing skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 25 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat potentially noisy environment. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
Ability to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
Minimum Requirements:
Responsibilities may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule.
18 years of age.
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required card, certification, or license as required by law or policy.
Must possess a valid Health Card.
