Role Description

The Shift Manager will help ensure the retail shop operates in accordance with the company's principles, systems, and culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising the team during their shift, ensuring excellent service to teammembers and guests, and supporting management in day-to-day operations and goals. The Shift Manager will have strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for guest service.

• Provide exceptional guest service and ensure all guests have an excellent experience
• Lead and supervise the team during their shift, including delegating tasks, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Train and coach team members to ensure they deliver exceptional guest service and are knowledgeable of product and operations
• Work collaboratively with the Co-Manager and General Manager to ensure store goals are being met
• Continuously develop knowledge of product, industry trends, and guest preferences; identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Communicates to staff pertinent information regarding shop involvement, promotions, changes in systems or principles.
• Coach and assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software
• Ability to be self-motivated, problem-solver, and take initiative

• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening skills
