ABOUT THE JOB

The Chain Retail Sales Specialist will work out in the field 90% of their time with 10% of their time allotted to planning their day and checking CRM to ensure chain accounts are being called on with the proper frequency. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing company priorities and initiatives in the chain portion of the business. The candidate will be expected to make at minimum 7 chain account calls per day and log their information into our CRM. It is important that the candidate is focused on educating floor staff at retail, ensuring proper shelf position of company products, and always asking/looking for opportunities for product enhancements. Building relationships with Spirits Managers, Assistant Store Managers, Store Manager and District Manager in all chain accounts is required. This position will include calling on general market on and off premise accounts as well as prospecting for new business at unsold and dormant accounts.

  • Consistent and effective call frequency within the account universe
  • Timely response to customer related issues
  • Mastery of the company portfolio including pricing strategy, deals and promotions
  • Execute sales presentations and achieve company objectives to grow the business
  • Merchandising and shelf management of company products
  • Utilize the CRM to log customer interaction and account activity
  • Timely management of paperwork and deliverables to the General Sales Manager

Qualifications

5+ years in beverage alcohol wholesale distribution

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Valid NV drivers license with no major violations in past 5 years

Reliable transportation and proof of insurance

Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and merchandise and build retail displays

Willingness to work nights and weekends depending on the demands of the job

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
