divh2Technology Category Manager/h2pCaesars Entertainment Incs Procurement Strategic Sourcing department is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Category Manager to spearhead the end-to-end sourcing processes for Corporate Hardware, Software, SaaS, Enterprise Security and related services. This critical role involves actively managing sourcing categories, leading supplier negotiations, and supporting and influencing key business decisions to drive successful sourcing outcomes./ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships with business and technical stakeholders to design and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, performance, and risk/liliTranslate complex technical requirements into commercial strategies, leading the full sourcing lifecyclecategory planning, RFx execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance management/liliLead robust RFx processes including market assessments, supplier identification, competitive bidding, stakeholder alignment, scoring methodologies, negotiations, and award recommendations/liliPerform advanced market and benchmark analysis to drive continuous improvement in pricing, service levels, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Track market dynamics and execute cost?optimization initiatives/liliOwn contract development and negotiation for all IT?related agreements (MSAs, SOWs, order forms, amendments), ensuring alignment across Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance and Regulatory./liliAnticipate and mitigate project risks by proactively identifying issues, driving cross?functional alignment, and ensuring timely resolution./liliDrive value creation by balancing business requirements with technical and operational considerations to deliver optimal outcomes/liliMaintain expertise in IT sourcing, vendor management, industry best practices, and emerging technology trends, serving as a strategic advisor to internal partners/liliContinuously assess supplier capabilities, develop supplier strategies, and expand competitive supplier portfolios/liliStrengthen cross?functional collaboration with Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, Cybersecurity, Legal, and other internal teams to support enterprise?wide procurement goals/li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliExtensive experience in effective collaboration, influence, and communication with internal clients and external suppliers/liliProven experience to analyze complex information and data sets, apply critical thinking, and achieve successful outcomes through negotiation/liliExpertise in drafting and redlining professional services and software agreements, with experience of contract language and terms/liliProficiency with a variety of tools and technologies, including productivity, collaboration, and contract management software, and quick adaptability to new systems and workflows with a focus on continuous improvement/liliCommercial negotiation acumen, evidenced by a track record of securing favorable terms and managing complex contracts/liliProven organizational and prioritization skills/liliFamiliarity with the complexities of Tech Sourcing, particularly networking hardware, software, services and associated agreements/li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements:/strong/pulli5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, indirect category management, or contracting within technology categories/liliBachelors or similar degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related technical field required, MBA preferred./li/ulh3About Us/h3pAt Caesars Entertainment, Inc., our Team Members create the extraordinary.
