Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and support the migration of wireless access points off the current MSP
• Migrate switching infrastructure into internal network
• Assist with large-scale migrations at CityCenter
• Support the transition from a single external provider to internally-managed infrastructure
• Use Cisco Catalyst Center to manage and monitor wireless environments

Required Background & Experience

• Extensive experience (3+ years) in enterprise wireless networking
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center
• Hands-on experience performing wireless site surveys
• Ability to train and mentor junior engineers
• Experience supporting large, multi-property environments

Soft Skills

• Works well in a collaborative team environment
• Able to mentor and upskill junior engineers with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable in a customer-facing role
• Ability to partner closely with property technology leaders

Technical Must-Haves

• 5–7+ years managing Cisco wireless infrastructure
• Experience with:
• Cisco 9800 Wireless Controllers
• Cisco Aerohive / Cisco APs
• Cisco Catalyst Center
• Ekahau (site surveys)
• Routing and switching fundamentals

Nice-to-Haves

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
• Experience with Cisco Firepower
• Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience with Cisco SDA networks
• Advanced routing (BGP experience a plus)
