Sales Representative - Ocular Solutions

Description:

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand market share within Las Vegas. The representative will engage with Ophthalmology and Optometry clinics, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), Academic Medical Centers, and Federal Government facilities (including VA and Military

hospitals).


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to penetrate existing accounts and secure new customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas as defined by the regional sales plan.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan to ensure monthly revenue goals and sustainable long-term growth.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor dynamics and market trends through continuous training and corporate updates.
  • Foster positive internal relationships with Marketing, Clinical, Reimbursement, and Senior Management to align with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to provide field insights on industry shifts and assist in the development of new programs.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Science, Medicine, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience within the medical device, ophthalmic/eyecare, biotechnology, or tissue segments.
  • Proven track record selling into ophthalmic/medical optometry clinics, ASCs, and Academic Medical Centers.
  • Experience implementing treatment protocols within eye care practices.
  • Exceptional grit, passion, and a goal-oriented mindset are essential.
