Description:

The Manager of Transaction Management oversees all real estate transactions for House Buyers of America, managing both acquisition and disposition deals from contract through closing. This is a hands‑on, player/coach role responsible for leading the transaction team while managing a personal pipeline in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. This role requires strong ownership, assertiveness, and the ability to solve complex transaction problems. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, holds others accountable, and is willing to do what it takes to get deals closed.What you will doManage acquisition and disposition transactions from contract ratification through settlementSupervise, train, and performance‑manage Transaction Coordinators / Settlement ProcessorsEstablish, track, and manage KPIs for all team membersHire, supervise, train and mentor Transaction CoordinatorsDevelop and update all policies and procedures, including creating video and written training documentsEnsure all policies and procedures are being followedPersonally manage a portfolio of transactions while reviewing teamwork for accuracy and timelinesReview contracts, addenda, and HUD / Closing Disclosure statements for accuracyRequest loans for new acquisitions and coordinate with lendersManage construction loan draw requests in partnership with the Construction teamOversee all property listings, including procuring professional photography and virtual stagingEnsure high quality, accuracy, and completeness of all listings across MLS and other platformsEnsure the company CRM is updated consistently and accurately for all transactionsServe as the escalation point for transaction issues; push back and elevate with title companies, lenders, or other parties when needed to get resultsSolve complex transaction problems involving title defects, surveys, utilities, seller challenges, or other complicationsCoordinate closely with Sales and Construction teams to ensure smooth handoffs and timely closingsAssist with market expansion efforts, including sourcing and managing title company relationships and 3rd party brokersMaintain a high level of customer service for buyers, sellers, and partnersAssist with hiring and managing 3rd party property managers to manage our rental portfolioThrive in a fast‑paced environment; availability may include evenings and weekends as neededWhat we're looking for2+ years of people management experience in settlement, title, or transaction management5+ years of real estate transaction experienceProven experience managing high‑volume acquisitions and dispositionsHighly assertive and comfortable holding internal teams and external partners accountableStrong work ethic and ownership mindsetAbility to independently resolve complex real‑estate transaction issuesYou love people and are obsessed with making customers happyBachelor's degree requiredProficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systemsYou thrive on working in a fast paced environmentWhy we are a great place to work:Our company is FULLY REMOTEOur awesome company culture includes: competitive pay great benefits, great people, casual dress, team events, work hard/ play hard environment2025 Revenue is up 60% year over year compared to 20242025 Ratified acquisitions are up 70% year over year compared to 2024Q4 2025 sales are up 100% compared to Q3 2025Q4 2025 revenue is up 152% compared to Q4 2025Q4 Ratified acquisitions are up 64% compared to Q4 2025We are continuing our nationwide expansion, now operating in 44 states plus Washington, DC.House Buyers of America is a leading national home‑buying company helping homeowners sell with confidence through a simple, transparent, and hassle‑free process .
