Title Examiner – Texas experience requiredWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Title Examiner with 5+ years of title examination experience with Residential Lot/Block properties. The ideal candidate will perform thorough title searches, review title documents, and prepare commitments. Texas experience is required, and multi‑state expertise is valued.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct a thorough search of the public records and conduct a complete examination to assess property's status of title, while adhering to regulatory title standards and Underwriter's policies and procedures.Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, trust agreements etc.Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys.Responsible for assembling Title Commitments to be used to issue a Final Title Policy.Communicate effectively with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers, and Escrow Processing Teams.Be willing to mentor junior examiners on various title issues.QualificationsMinimum of 5+ years Texas title examination experience.Strong understanding of title examination process and procedures, related documentation, and their effect upon title.Residential Lot/Block examination experience required, with Acreage (metes and bounds) experience preferred.Proficient in the use of Title Data (TIMS) title plant software, Deed Plotter software, and have experience with County Government websites.Must have good research/investigation skills and understand legal terms, be aware of new legal developments/legislation that affect real property.Excellent verbal/written skills and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills.Must be able to prioritize according to departmental guidelines, have a high level of organizational skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines, work with constantly changing priorities, demonstrate strong follow‑through, and follow procedures/processes.Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use various software applications Microsoft Outlook, Word, Acrobat.Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem‑solving skills.Benefits PackageMedical, Dental, Vision, Short‑term and Long‑term disability benefits, AD&D401(k) savings plan with company matchPaid Time Off to include Holidays, Vacation Time, and Sick TimePaid Family & Paternity LeaveLife InsuranceBusiness Travel Accident InsuranceAll employees receive access to LinkedIn LearningEmployee Referral ProgramAdoption Assistance ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth and Wellness Program and IncentivesEmployee DiscountsEmployee Resource GroupsEEO Statement: EOE including disability/veteran#J-18808-Ljbffr
