Fire Sprinkler AutoCAD Designer

We are representing an established mechanical contractor seeking a Fire Sprinkler AutoCAD Designer to join a growing fire protection division in the greater Las Vegas area. This role supports a steady pipeline of residential and light commercial fire systems and reports directly to local leadership. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on designer seeking stability, ownership culture, and long-term growth within an ESOP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce AutoCAD fire sprinkler layouts for primarily single-family residential projects
• Collaborate with field teams and leadership to ensure accurate, buildable designs
• Interpret plans, specifications, and fire protection requirements
• Maintain organized drawing sets and revisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Support submittal packages and permit-ready documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of drawings
• Assist with takeoffs and light estimating

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Fire Sprinkler AutoCAD design experience
• Knowledge of residential fire sprinkler systems
• NIET certification
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency
• Detail-oriented and team-focused
• Exposure to takeoffs or estimating is a plus
