We are a lender/servicer, who works with loan originators, brokers, and correspondents to offer our customers great rates and good terms.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze residential mortgage loan applications including credit reports, income documentation, asset statements, property appraisals, and other supporting documentsWork closely with loan processors, originators, and closers to obtain missing information or clarify documentationMaintain current knowledge of loan program guidelines, compliance requirements, and market trendsUtilize automated underwriting systems (e.g., DU, LP) and perform manual underwriting when necessaryMaintain productivity, quality, and turnaround standards as defined by managementParticipate in internal and external audits by providing documentation and responses as requestedBasic QualificationsProven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)Specific QualificationsMinimum of five years experience underwriting mortgage loansProficiency with Encompass and automated underwriting systems (DU, LP)In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and underwriting guidelinesStrong analytical and decision-making skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a high volume of files in a fast-paced environmentDE (Direct Endorsement) certification for FHA loansSAR/LAPP approval for VA loans (Preferred)Benefits401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceIn SummaryIf you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a growing organization that values your skills and expertise, we want to hear from you.
