The Outside Sales Manager is a highly motivated, sales-driven individual who will be responsible for selling our products and services nationwide. This position can work out of any of our branch offices. The selected candidate will be required to develop relationships with existing clients, cold call prospective clients, communicate inbound leads from customers to Account Managers, and successfully handoff new customers to Account Managers as dictated by the VP of Sales. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.Duties/Responsibilities:Work in tandem with Account Managers to continue to develop existing accountsUtilize available tools to establish and grow strong relationships with key decision makersAbility to establish and expand relationships with key decision makersBuild referral sources and strategic alliancesProspect, cold call, and develop new business within assigned marketsOutbound calling to potential and established clients daily to set face-to-face appointmentsConsistently closing sales and achieving monthly activity and revenue goals/quotasManage monthly appointment activity and sales callsMeet or exceed prospecting objectivesAttend networking events both during and after business hoursRemain current with product knowledge, trends, and initiatives within the audio visual & computer rental industryConsistently improve knowledge of Rentex rental inventory through self-study, monthly team presentations, and product training sessionsProvide excellent customer service to external and internal clientsMaintain clear and concise communication with customers and co-workersReact to constantly changing circumstances and handle customer objections in a professional mannerMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and complianceFollow company policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as assigned by the VP of SalesMinimum Qualifications:Able to effectively manage a high volume of incoming calls and emailsHave a highly motivated and energetic personality with the ability to adapt and learn quicklyBe able to work as part of a team, and have the desire to be part of a growing companyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Word & Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding and skills with Rentex's inventory platform to solve the highest-level problemsA strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computer equipment and specificationsWell versed in standard live event production practices and standardsIs personable with an ability to elicit trust and enthusiasm from potential and existing clientsPreferred Education and Experience:5+ years' experience in audio/visual, event production or a related field3+ years' experience in outside sales maintaining customer relationships#J-18808-Ljbffr
