About the job Cloud Support Engineer - Tier 2 An exciting opportunity for a Cloud Support Engineer (Azure) has just opened up within this disruptive company. With a client list of the worlds leading content creators from the Disney, CBS News to the LA Lakers, they are looking for a Support Engineer (Level 2) with an attitude towards resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated.As a Support Engineer you will be an excellent communicator who is confident and empathetic with a varied technical support background. Whether your experience lies in the enterprise or post-production environments, you will be ready to learn, understand and advise in a role that will see you face exciting challenges on a day-to-day basis.You will provide creative application support for Adobe and Avid solutions (training provided), workflow advice, engineering support and technical deployment to a range of distinguished clients in all areas of their workflow including ingest, edit, export and delivery; working to offer proactive support to the environments and users.Experience RequiredAt least 2+ years Industry-related experience in a Cloud Support role (Level 2)Experience with Azure/365, Microsoft desktop/server operating systemsPractical experience navigating cloud services admin panels (Azure portal)Professional certification in Microsoft Azure AZ-900 or AZ-104 is beneficialKnowledge of management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructureKnowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) is beneficialA solid understanding of network technologiesExperience with virtualisation; Hyper-V, VMWare or CitrixUnderstand security risks, along with their identification and remediationIdentify Shift Left, Quality and Automation initiativesHighly motivated to provide excellent customer service to end users and colleagues.Strong verbal and written communication skills.This position is fully remote across the US but the ideal candidates will be within the MST time zone.
