The Retail Associate is a dynamic, cross-functional team member responsible for delivering a positive, educational, and compliant cannabis retail experience. This role encompasses responsibilities across the retail floor, fulfillment area, cashier station, and drive-thru. Retail Associates are trained and certified in various skills to support coverage needs and ensure smooth operations. Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and adaptability are key to success in this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods including drive-thru transactions.
• Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Fulfill orders efficiently from online or in-person queues, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory by restocking and managing product levels.
• Keep the retail and fulfillment areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Ensure compliance regulatory compliance and adherence to company's standard operating procedures and policies.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
• Rotate between stations (sales floor, cashier, drive-thru, fulfillment) based on business needs and skill certification.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of retail, customer service, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for the cannabis industry and willingness to learn product knowledge and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.

• Mobility to stand, kneel, and walk for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, twist, and perform light physical labor.
• Exposure to varying temperatures or loud environments, as applicable.

• Retail dispensary setting with designated sales floor, cashier, fulfillment, and drive-thru stations.
• Frequent interaction with customers and team members.
