Job Description









As a Security Officer - Healthcare Buildings in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff through teamwork, reliability, and integrity while bringing an agile, innovative approach to daily responsibilities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeThur06:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including halls, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff movement to help to identify unusual behavior and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local staff, and/or emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements:
Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.Be 21 years of age or older.Have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:
