**The right candidate will be on the Western half of the US in order to better access West Coast customers**

The Field Uptime Engineer is responsible for supporting the Service & Solutions department by providing problem resolution to complex technical issues including root cause analysis, diagnosis, and repair guidance to our distributors.

In addition, they provide warranty claim oversight and develop / deliver product training for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our products at the direction of the Field Service Sr Uptime Engineer.

Provide technical support in a customer service focused manner until repair issue is fully resolved

Updating and resolving BOTIS tickets timely and accurately

Aids Production & PDI departments for critical needs (diagnosing)

Through Fleet Intelligence, provides reports of field actions and resolutions

Using BOTIS ticketing system And Fleet Intelligence reports, identify repetitive failure patterns, recommend, and manage field product improvements or campaigns

Travel as required (up to 75%)

Requirements:

Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions

Technical aptitude

Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

Mental capacity to make sound decisions and to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Ability to multitask, solve problems, manage time, adapt to changing work conditions, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment

Superior organizational skills, strong quality orientation, and high attention to detail

Proven ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Knowledge of and adherence to occupational hazards and standard safety practices

Strong ethical standards, reliability, professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Education and Experience

Associate degree or equivalent preferred

5+ years of technical experience with construction equipment preferred

SAP knowledge preferred
