Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a highly experienced Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our well-established company, supporting both International and Domestic operations. We are looking for a hands-on, attentive professional who takes pride in accuracy. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively individually and as part of a team. Freight forwarding experience is required!
How you create impact:

• Auditing documentation including BOLs, PLs, Commercial Invoices, and specialized certificates.
• Full management of the shipment lifecycle.
• Providing daily shipment status updates to clients and resolving any operational discrepancies.
• Gathering billing charges and providing accurate quotes, including duties and landed costs.
• Invoicing customers and ensuring total data integrity within our internal management systems.
• Coordinating ocean, air, and road freight shipments across both domestic and international lanes, ensuring seamless execution from origin to final delivery.
  What we would like you to bring:
  • Expert-level email management and professional proficiency in OUTLOOK.
  • Extensive experience with TMS platforms; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel for data entry and shipment formatting.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of direct freight forwarding operations in international and domestic
  • operations including, but not limited to tracking, BOL creation, routing, booking, quoting, and finalizing shipments.
  • Must know international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • A proactive troubleshooting mindset with a proven ability to manage shipment exceptions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with carriers, vendors, and international partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments simultaneously under tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. Multitasking is key!
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed to support global shipping schedules.

    • $21.00 $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
