Partner - Talent Acquisition

The Partner - Talent Acquisition is a strategic recruiting partner and a vital ambassador of The Venetian Resort brand. This position owns the recruitment process for a diverse range of hourly, professional and specialized roles across the resort. The role is focused on building authentic relationships with candidates and hiring managers, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from the first touchpoint to a new team member's first day.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as a dedicated advisor to hiring managers across various departments. This involves developing a deep understanding of their team's needs to build and execute effective recruiting strategies for a broad range of hourly, professional and specialized roles.
  • Creates compelling job descriptions to attract the right candidates.
  • Owns the entire candidate journey from end-to-end. Manage the relationship from the initial search, through offer negotiation, background checks, and ensures a seamless new hire onboarding process.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment for hourly and high-volume positions, providing a consistent and efficient hiring and selection process to meet the resort's operational needs.
  • Ensures hiring and internal movement are conducted in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs). This includes understanding the promotional bidding process for union positions, and providing and collecting union referral slips to new hires.
  • Drives the search for top talent by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates through advanced sourcing techniques, strategic networking, and by leveraging platforms like Phenom CRM and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ensures a positive and engaging experience for all candidates by providing timely communication, clear expectations, and thoughtful feedback throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manages interview logistics, including scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and organized process for all participants.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shares the story of what makes The Venetian a great place to work. Represent our values and culture in every interaction, giving candidates a compelling and authentic look into our resort.
  • Represents The Venetian Resort at recruitment events, such as career fairs, industry conferences, and networking functions, to promote the employer brand and attract talent.
  • Leads key aspects of the company's annual summer internship program, including recruitment, coordinating program events, and serving as a primary point of contact for interns and leaders.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system and CRM. Uses talent data to guide recruiting strategies and provide insightful updates to hiring managers.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with industry leaders, universities, and professional organizations to expand the resort's talent network.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement well-documented solutions to ensure operational excellence.
  • Ensures all recruiting activities are in compliance with company policies and all federal and state legal requirements.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.

Company Standards of Conduct

All The Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 3+ years of significant experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for hourly, professional, and specialized roles, preferably within a luxury hospitality or a corporate environment.
  • Expertise with advanced sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, and experience with modern CRM/ATS platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with excellent judgment and the ability to build rapport and trust with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage complex searches, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed for recruitment events and industry conferences.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
