Elm Street, Suite 101Denton, TX 76201m1services.comJob Summary:M1 is looking for anAircraft Mechanic III - APG Corrosion Inspection who will conduct dailycorrosion dock operations under Coatings Section.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:*Troubleshoots, maintains, services, and inspects aircraft, structures, systems, components, andrelated support equipment.* Removes, installs, and conducts functional tests of repaired aircraft systems and components.* Required to adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems.* Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins,technical data.* Request engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method ofrepairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.* Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections as required.* Removes and installs aircraft panels, nut plates, and other associated hardware or componentsto accomplish corrosion inspections and Time Compliance Technical Directives.* Performs fuel cell safety checks for entrance.* Repairs, modifies, fabricates, and applies corrosion protective, low observable coatings andmarkings to aircraft structures, equipment, advanced composites, and bonded structural parts.* Assembles structural parts and components using special fasteners and adhesives to meetrequirements for preserving structural integrity and low observable qualities.* Identifies, removes, and treats corrosion using mechanical and chemical procedures.* Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, and leads, and provides technicalguidance to lower-level technicians as required.* Will be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed bymanagement.* Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance,enters maintenance actions into applicable Maintenance Information System (MIS) and will makeentries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required.Aircraft Mechanic III - APG Corrosion InspectionLocationNellis AFB, NVJob Posting No113918outsidebar) to the bottom of the pageand click on the "Apply for thisposition" button.Start Date03/01/2026ContractNAMSSSalary Range$52.07/HourPosting Date02/27/2026UnionYesFLSA StatusNon-ExemptShift WorkPossible FT/PT Full-timeRelocationNoTravelPossiblePage 2of 2* Will be required to monitor and lead teams to perform more complex aircraft inspections andrepairs. Will be required to write/initiate engineering technical assistance requests.* Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and moresenior technicians.Qualifications and Experience:* High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable* Minimum of 8 years performing as a USAF fighter aircraft Crew Chief, with 4 years on the F-35 airframe.Working knowledge of MIS, forms documentation, and strict adherence to aircraft technical data isrequired.* Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data andspecial operating instructions in the same language.* Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.* Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).* Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.* Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.* Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.* Must be able to, if obtain, and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).* Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license.
