Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Casino Audit Consultant to support a project focused on developing and implementing standardized operating procedures across audit and revenue accounting functions. This individual will play a key role in evaluating current practices, aligning processes with updated regulatory requirements, and building structured documentation to support long-term operational consistency. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of casino accounting environments and can quickly step in to assess, design, and deliver high-quality procedural frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and document comprehensive standard operating procedures across casino audit functions, including multiple revenue streams
• Evaluate existing workflows and identify gaps where processes are outdated or no longer aligned with current compliance standards
• Create structured documentation that clearly outlines audit procedures, controls, and reporting requirements
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure procedures accurately reflect operational realities across departments such as cage and gaming
• Analyze how financial data and transactions move through the organization to ensure procedures support accurate reporting and reconciliation
• Incorporate current regulatory guidelines and internal control requirements into all documented processes
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, consistency, and audit readiness across accounting operations
• Support implementation and refinement of newly developed procedures through collaboration with leadership
Qualifications:
• Proven experience within a casino accounting or audit environment is required
• Strong knowledge of revenue accounting processes, including familiarity with cage operations and gaming-related audits such as slots and table games
• Demonstrated ability to create SOPs or formal documentation for accounting or audit functions
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and internal controls within a gaming environment
• Ability to assess existing processes and translate them into structured, scalable procedures
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, thorough documentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based setting with an immediate start timeline
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of leadership
