Youll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day./ppstrong Specific benefits include: /strong/pulliCompetitive pay./liliRecognition and Reward Programs./liliTraining and Career Development./liliOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan./liliUniform and equipment provided./liliAdditional benefits vary depending on position./li/ulpstrong Responsibilities: /strong/ppSecurity Officer will provide safety and security at posts, to include:/pulliGreeting guests as they enter the Bank/liliobserving, documenting, and reporting/lilienforcing laws and policies as directed./liliproviding customer service,/liliobserving and reporting on operability of vertical conveyances/liliintervening to terminate action potentially injurious to persons or property,/liliability to recognize and appropriately respond to persons in crisis,/liliresponding to sick or injured persons,/liliresponding to safety hazards, equipment malfunctions such as with escalators, liquid spills, and other maintenance related issues,/liliresponding to events that may require partial or full evacuations,/liliobserving, documenting, and reporting,/lilimonitoring video and alarms,/lilienforcing laws and policies as directed, and/lilicollaborating with other security officers, law enforcement and emergency services./li/ulpSecurity personnel are to be certified and trained and will be assigned a variety of standing, sitting and walking posts./ppstrong Qualifications: /strong/pp1.US Person as defined by 22 USC 6010./pp2.Twenty-one years of age./pp3.High School graduate or equivalent./pp4.No criminal history that renders the security officer unsuitable for the position, taking into account the nature and gravity of the offense or conduct, the time that has passed since the offense, conduct or completion of a sentence, the nature of the job duties and any other relevant factors. Contractor will check criminal backgrounds annually and motor vehicle records every six months./pp5. A permanent (not temporary) individual State Guard License./pp6. Ability to write detailed, accurate reports in English./pp7. Ability to read, understand and apply printed rules; detailed orders; instructions and training materials in English./pp8. Have the ability to recognize situations/individuals who may pose a threat to the public./pp9. Excellent communications skills both verbal and written./pp10. Ability to handle situations/individuals under stressful conditions./pp11. Ability to follow directions, without hesitation, under stressful conditions./pp12. Ability to handle verbally disruptive and verbally abusive people in a professional manner./pp13.
