Picker / Packer (Warehouse)

Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday Friday | 6:30 AM 3:00 PM

Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Picker / Packers to join our warehouse team. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Verify product quantities, descriptions, and condition prior to packing
• Prepare shipments according to company and client guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Meet daily productivity and quality performance standards
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Previous picker/packer or warehouse experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including understanding verbal and written instructions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift (up to 4050 lbs as needed)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Attendance Policy

This is a temp-to-hire position with strict attendance expectations. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for continued assignment and consideration for permanent hire. Excessive tardiness, absences, or failure to follow call-off procedures may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of assignment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass a standard pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to successfully pass a standard 7-year criminal background check, in accordance with applicable laws

Dress Code & Facility Policies

• Standard warehouse attire required: T-shirt, cargo shorts or pants, and tennis shoes recommended
• Proper hygiene and maintained personal grooming (including nails) expected
• Only clear bags are permitted inside the facility for loss prevention and security purposes

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
• Repetitive movements and production-based workflow
